Freddy Kiwitt successfully defended
the World Boxing Federation (WBF)
World Super Welterweight title for
the second time on Saturday night,
January 17, in his home-town of
Flensburg, Germany.
At the GP Joule Arena Flensburg,
going out live world-wide on DAZN,
Kiwitt out-boxed Nigerian challenger
Suleiman Jafaru to score a clear
unanimous decision.
Judges Janine Schilling,
Zoltan Enyedi and Frank Michael Mass
scored it 118-110, 117-110
and 117-111 for the man who became
WBF world champion in November of
2023.
Kiwitt improved his professional
record to 29-3 (18), while Jafaru, a
former Nigerian national champion,
drops to 17-2 (14).
The fight headlined a show promoted
by Claussen Events in association
with Kiwitt´s PWR Box Promotion.
