Claressa Shields is still the World Boxing Federation (WBF) world Heavyweight champion after retaining the title on Sunday, February 22, at Little Ceasars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Shields, making her third defense of the title she won in July of 2024, scored a wide unanimous decision over two-time world Super Middleweight champion Franchon Crews Dezurn.

Judges Rosemary Gross, Waleska Roldan and Martha Tremblay all scored the fight 100-90.

Shields took her professional record to 18-0 (3), while Crews Dezurn is now 10-3 (2). This was a rematch, as Shields also defeated Crews Dezurn on points in both boxers professional debuts in 2016.

Broadcast live world-wide by DAZN, the fight was promoted by Salita Promotions.
