VENUE CHANGE FOR 2019 WBF
CONVENTION ***
It’s that
time again…namely time for the
next, the fourth, WBF World
Convention!
To this
effect, the World Boxing
Federation (WBF) today announced
details. According to WBF Vice
President Jean Marcel Nartz, the
site will be the Parkhotel in
Oberhausen, Germany, a four-star
facility which Nartz used many
times while working as
matchmaker for the now-defunct
Universum Box-Promotion.
The event is
set for November 7 to November
10 with the highlight, as usual,
being the WBF Championship
Boxing Night.
“I
am sure, Marcel has picked the
right location,” explains WBF
President Howard Goldberg from
his South African office,
“because there is nobody in our
team who knows better about
organizing events like a
Convention!”
More info's
will obviously follow, but for
now, mark the date and place.
“I
am hugely excited to see
everyone from the WBF family
again in Oberhausen in early
November,” said Goldberg.
