FIGHT REPORT   Photo: Dilara Yucel from Turkey convincingly defeated Kenyan Judi Wanguthii to become World Boxing Federation (WBF) world champion.

Dilara “She Wolf” Yucel from Turkey won the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens world Super Welterweight title with a convincing performance on Saturday night at the Steffl Arena in Vienna, Austria.

The 20-year-old stopped former WBC Silver champion, and multiple world title-challenger Judi Waguthii from Kenya in the fifth round. Official time of stoppage: 1:56.

Yucel was too fresh, fast and accurate for her veteran opponent and was in control from start to finish, showing composure and focus beyond her age.

Turning professional at seventeen in 2020, Yucel is now impressively already a two-weight world champion, having won the UBO world Welterweight title in 2022.

She took her unbeaten record to 15-0 (10). Waguthii, a pro since 2005 and only stopped inside the distance once before, falls to 17-11-4 (5).
