Kinigamazi successfully defended
his world title for the second
time on June 1 with a unanimous
decision over Nicaraguan Ramiro
Blanco (17-2-3), after twelve
rounds of entertaining toe-to-to
action in Geneva, Switzerland,
not long from his adopted
home-town of Thonex.
The victory brought the
Rwanda-born 35-year-oldīs record
to 29-2 (4), and extends his
unbeaten run to eleven fights
over almost six years.
