Xolisani Ndongeni,
the World Boxing Federation
(WBF) World Lightweight Champion
from South Africa, is the WBF
Boxer of the Month for August
2018.
28-year-old Ndongeni
successfully defended his title
for the first time on August 11,
stopping Tanzanian Salimu Jengo
in five rounds after a clinical
and impressive performance,
improving his unblemished record
to 25-0 (13).
Ndongeni was also the WBF Boxer
of the Month for April,
following his title-winning
fight against Namibian Abraham
Ndauendapo.
