Switzerland´s Zino Meuli
came of age on December 26, when
he gritted out a majority
decision over Czech Josef
Zahradnik to win the vacant
World Boxing Federation (WBF)
World Welterweight title.
That accomplishment also earned
the undefeated man from Horn the
WBF Boxer of the Month award for
December 2018.
Only last August Meuli (13-0, 6
KOs) won the WBF International
title, defeating former IBO
World Champion Tsiko Mulovhedzi,
and the victory over Zahradnik
just after Christmas put a
wonderful cap on a great year
for the 26-year-old.
