Reigning World Boxing Federation
(WBF) Intercontinental Light
Heavyweight ruler Travis
Hanshaw, 14-1-1 (7), is set to
move down a weight-class to
fight for the vacant WBF World
Super Middleweight title on
Saturday June 29.
Having fought professionally in
every weight-division from Light
Welterweight to Cruiserweight,
Hanshaw now gets his big
opportunity at Super
Middleweight when he takes on
Aaron Quattrocchi, 11-2-1 (5),
at his usual stomping-grounds,
the Boyd County Community Center
in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, USA.
“Rattlesnake”
Hanshaw (27), nicknamed so
because he was bitten by a
rattlesnake as a child, won the
Intercontinental Light
Heavyweight crown in November of
2017, and retained it last July
with an impressive victory over
10-1-1 Roy King.
From Ashland, only a few miles
from Catlettsburg, he is
expected to be cheered on by his
usual throng of fans, and he
will need all the support he can
get against a determined
Quattrocchi, who is full of
confidence, having won the West
Virginia State title against
undefeated Joey Holt (9-0) in
his most recent outing.
Travis “Rattlesnake” Hanshaw vs.
Aaron “Quiet Storm” Quattrocchi
for the vacant World Boxing
Federation (WBF) World Super
Middleweight title on June 29
will headline a show promoted by
Tom Hanshaw´s East Coast
Promotions.
