Preparations for the World
Boxing Federation (WBF) World
Convention on November 7 to
November 10 in Medebach,
Germany, are in full swing, and
the itinerary for the event is
taking shape.
After the arrivals and
registration of delegates at the
hotel, the four star resort
Center Parcs Park Hochsauerland,
on Thursday November 7, things
will kick off with the official
convention opening the following
day.
Speeches from President Howard
Goldberg and Vice President
Torben Seemann Hansen will be
followed by an officials seminar
hosted by respected referee and
judge Eddie Marshall from South
Africa, also a member of the WBF
Executive Committee.
Among other things, Friday
November 8 will also include the
weigh-in and rules meeting for
the WBF Championship Boxing
Event scheduled for Saturday
November 9, and the evening will
end with a gala dinner and
awards ceremony.
On Saturday November 9, before
the aforementioned WBF
Championship event to be held in
nearby Korbach, the day will
consist of various things,
including speeches from WBF
Champions and an open speaking
session.
Sunday November 10 will see
everyone say goodbye, after what
will hopefully have been a few
enjoyable days socializing with
old friends, networking and
getting to know new people.
The point-by-point itinerary, as
it looks at the moment, can be
seen in full on
