There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel! It will be a while before things get back to normal, but promoters are slowly starting to announce fights and shows.

Most notably, Top Rank is bringing back professional boxing in the United States on several dates this month, albeit without spectators, and other major promoters are aiming to do the same in July and August in America and the United Kingdom.

In Germany fans are so far allowed to attend events, with certain restrictions, from the start of September, which has made it possible for CPI Boxing to confirm the scheduling of a big open-air show in the city of Donauworth on September 5.

Headlining the card will be undefeated Slovenian sensation Ema “The Princess” Kozin, 19-0-1 (10), defending her World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens World Middleweight title against an opponent still to be announced.

21-year-old Kozin, who also holds the WBF World Super Middleweight crown, was scheduled to take on Uruguay´s former IBF World Champion Chris Namus before COVID-19 put the world on hold, but Namus is unlikely to be the opponent in September.
