Two World Boxing Federation (WBF) Championship fights are set for Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on Friday November 13, promoted by Jackson Group Promotions.

In the main event, WBF Intercontinental Super Welterweight Champion Hassan Mwakinyo (17-2, 11 KOs) makes his first title-defense against former WBC Latino titlist Jose Carlos Paz (23-11-1, 13 KOs) from Argentina.

Mwakinyo won the vacant WBF title in his most recent fight, this past August, when he defeated undefeated co-challenger Tshibangu Kayembe from D. R. Congo by unanimous decision, also in Dar Es Salaam.

In the co-featured bout, former WBC World Super Bantamweight Champion Fatuma Zarika (32-13-2, 17 KOs) from Kenya moves up two weight-classes to take on Patience Mastara (7-6-3, 2 KOs) for the vacant WBF Womens World Super Featherweight crown.

Zarika became WBC World Champion in 2016, defeating Alicia Ashley in the USA, and made three successful defences on home soil in Nairobi before losing her title to Yamilet Mewrcado in Mexico last November.

A stacked undercard featuring local talent in interesting match-ups will precede the two WBF title fights.
