Highly touted American Miguel Gonzalez (16-2, 13 K.o.’s) will try to capture his first career title on May 15 when he faces experienced Christopher Fernandez (19-12-1, 12 K.o.’s) in a battle for the vacant WBF International light welterweight title at the St. Lucy Hall in Campbell, Ohio, USA.

The show will be promoted by Lights Out MP.

Gonzalez is regarded as a heavy hitter and has not lost a bout in two years, scoring four knockout victories in his last six bouts. Although he is a strong favorite against Fernandez, the 25 years old fighter from Cleveland promised not to look past the challenge ahead of him.

Fernandez, ten years Gonzalez’ senior, has quite some pop himself and could get his career back on track after two defeats with an upset over Gonzalez.
