September 4, to win the vacant
World Boxing Federation (WBF)
Intercontinental Light
Heavyweight title at the
Hansehalle in Luebeck, Germany.
Germany´s Isufi dropped Adamek
in rounds five and ten, but the
tough Czech survived the counts
of referee Dominic Kuhaupt both
times, and never stopped trying
his best.
But after ten rounds of boxing,
there was no doubt at all that
Isufi had won clearly. The
judges scores were 99-90, 98-91
and 98-90.
Isufi improved his professional
record to 32-4-2 (23). Adamek is
now 29-20-2 (10).
The new Intercontinental
champion called out WBF World
Light Heavyweight Champion Tim
Robin Lihaug from Norway
immediately after the fight.
The fight headlined a show
promoted by former Heavyweight
contender Alexander Petkovic.
