FIGHT REPORT   Photo: South Korean Han Sol Lee is the new World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental Flyweight Champion.

Undefeated local favorite Han Sol Lee captured the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental Flyweight title on Saturday, November 6, in Daejeon, South Korea.

28-year-old Lee had little trouble stopping Argentinean co-challenger Mauro Nicholas Liendro, a reigning WBA regional titlist at Light Flyweight, in four rounds.

The first couple of rounds were fought on even terms, but in the third round Lee upped his pace and started to hurt Liendro with sharp combinations.

Referee Lee Kyung-Han had seen enough already at seventeen seconds of round four, stepping to save the brave but out-gunned visitor.

The new WBF Intercontinental Flyweight Champion improved his professional record to 7-0 (3). Liendro drops to 5-7 (4).
