Light Heavyweight champion Shefat
Isufi will make his first
title-defense on September 16, when
he faces Canadian challenger Ryan
Ford at the Rudolf Weber Arena in
Oberhausen, Germany.
Isufi, 35-4-2 (24), won the WBF
world title in April, defeating
Bulgarian Grigor Saruhanian by
unanimous decision. He has since
kept active with a non-title fight
victory, beating former WBF World
Super Middleweight champion Bernard
Donfach on points in July.
In Ryan Ford, 17-7 (12), nicknamed
“The Real Deal”, he will be in with
an experienced and rugged
campaigner, who has proved his worth
on several occasions.
In 2017 the man from Edmonton, who
is also a successful MMA fighter,
won and defended the UBO World Light
Heavyweight title, beating credible
foes in Sam Rapira and Robert
Berridge.
On his last visit to Germany, in
2019, he captured a WBC regional
belt at Light Heavyweight, stopping
undefeated Serge Michel in eight
rounds.

will be promoted by Petko´s Boxing,
headed by former Heavyweight
contender Alexander Petkovic.
