Undefeated Souad Masmoudi from
France will fight for her first
professional title, the World Boxing
Federation (WBF) Womens
International Light Flyweight, on
April 15 in her home-town of
Epernay.
Masmoudi, 3-0 (0), will face Isabel
Rivero, 3-2 (0), in the main event
of a show at the Hall des Sports
Pierre Gaspard.
The home favourite turned
professional in the summer of 2021,
and with only three bouts she is now
about to make up for lost time by
stepping up to championship level.
Rivero, a pro since June of last
year, has competed over eight rounds
but for her it will also be the
first time fighting for a title.
In what should be a competitive
match-up, it remains to be seen who
will pass the test and move up the
ladder towards even bigger
assignments.
