Two World Boxing Federation (WBF)
championship fights, one
International and one All Africa,
are set for July 28 in Harare,
Zimbabwe.
WBF International Lightweight
champion Evans Husayihwevhu will
make his first title-defense, taking
on Israel Kammwamba from Malawi.
Husayihwevhu is 13-1 (7) since
turning pro in 2018, and captured
the WBF title last August. “Money
Machine” Kammwamba brings a 12-10-1
(8) ledger.
In the co-feature, Tinashe
Mwadziwana squares off with another
Malawian in Yobe Kamnyonya for the
vacant WBF All Africa Super
Featherweight crown.
Mwadziwana, nicknamed “The
Chairman”, enters the fight at 17-14
(10), while Kamnyonya is 9-8 (1).
