FIGHT POSTPONED TO A NEW DATE TBC! Muhammad Waseem vs. Sabelo Cebekhulu for the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) world Bantamweight title is the main event of a huge show at the Intercontinental Hotel in St. Julians, Malta on October 4.

Two more WBF championship fights are featured on the card, presented by Blockone and broadcast worldwide by DAZN and FIGHTZONE TV.

At Heavyweight Malta-based German Renke Wittke, 3-0 (3), will fight experienced Colombian Juan Camilo Novoa, 32-12-1 (29), for the vacant WBF Intercontinental title.

Romanian teenager Andrei Cristian Florian, 5-0 (3), is set to face another Colombian veteran in Jose Miguel Torres, 38-21 (29), with the vacant WBF International Light Heavyweight title at stake.

For Pakistan´s Waseem, 12-2 (8), he is hoping that third time is the charm for him after two previous failed world title-attempts.

In 2018 in Malaysia, he lost an extremely close decision to Cebekhulu´s compatriot Moruti Mthalane for the vacant IBF world Flyweight title.

Almost four years later he came up short again, for the same title, when Sunny Edwards, who had beaten Mthalane, decisioned him in Dubai.

South African Cebekhulu, 7-0 (3), a former WBF International titlist, is entering his first crack at world honours after turning pro in 2019.
