Claressa “T-Rex” Shields will defend the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens World Heavyweight title against undefeated Daniella Perkins on February 2 at the Dort Financial Center in her home-town Flint, Michigan.

29-year-old American super star Shields, 15-0 (3), also the current WBF world Middleweight champion, won the Heavyweight crown last July when she annihilated Canada´s Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse in two rounds in Detroit.

A pro since 2016, the two-time Olympic gold medallist, has amazingly won world championships at Super Welterweight, Middleweight, Super Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight, making her one of the most accomplished female boxers of all time.

In Daniella Perkins, 5-0 (2), from Houston in Texas, she will be in with a taller, tricky southpaw who was also an accomplished amateur and realises that this is likely the biggest opportunity she will ever get, making her determined to cause a huge upset.

Promoted by Salita Promotions, and billed as “Super Brawl Sunday, the fight will headline a card broadcast live world-wide by DAZN.
