World Boxing Federation (WBF)
International Super Bantamweight
champion Hassan Milanzi from
Zimbabwe will make his first title
defense on March 29, and it is
likely going to be a tough one.
Nicknamed “Starboy”, Milanzi, 13-3-1
(8), will take on experienced
Tanzanian Haidari Mchanjo, 20-11-7
(7), in one of the featured bouts of
a show billed as Rise Of the
Champions 5.
Milanzi (27) won the WBF title last
November, when he stopped Malawian
Clifford Antafu in five rounds at
the 7 Arts Theatre in Harare, and
now he returns to the same venue to
defend his crown.
Former Tanzanian champion Mchanjo,
the younger man by one year, turned
professional in 2016 and has boxed
outside his native country several
times.
For both men, winning on March 29
will be their most significant
victory to date. Styles makes
fights, and this one shapes up to be
a very good one.
