World Boxing Federation (WBF) World
Heavyweight champion Willy Kyakonye
will make his first title defense on
October 20 at the Theater Carré in
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
He will face current WBF
Intercontinental champion Renke
“Drago” Wittke from Germany, in what
promises to be an explosive affair.
Kyakonye, 11-0 (10), won the world
title last May when he blew out
Venezuelan Wilmer Vasquez in the
first round.
Wittke, 6-0 (6), became WBF champion
in October of 2024 with a third
round knockout of Colombian veteran
Juan Camilo Novoa.
This past April he impressively
retained the title when he stopped
Luis Jose Marin Garcia from
Venezuela in the first round.
Wittke has never gone past the third
round, but both men have a habit of
getting rid of their opponents
early. This is almost guaranteed to
be fireworks in the ring!
