Trujillo is the new World Boxing
Federation (WBF) International Super
Welterweight champion after winning
the vacant title on Saturday,
December 6, in Guatemala.
At the Plaza Mercado Nuevo Villa
Nueva in Guatemala City, the local
hero impressively stopped fellow
undefeated co-challenger Kevin
Guerrero from Costa Rica in the
third round.
Trujillo, who is also the reigning
Guatemala national champion, joins
his older brother as WBF titlist, as
Wyatt Trujillo (22) won the WBF
International Super Middleweight
crown last September.
A pro for only fourteen months,
Trujillo has been incredibly busy as
he improved his professional record
to 10-0-1 (8). Guerrero is now 4-1
(0).
The fight was part of a big show
promoted by Trujillo Promotions.
