South African Women’s Light
Welterweight Champion
Nomadhitini Ndyambo, 3-1 (1)
will fight local nemesis Kholoso
Ndabayani, 3-1 (2), for the
third time on November 25.
This time the vacant World
Boxing Federation
Intercontinental title will be
on the line.
The pair first fought this past
May, with Ndabayani winning by
fifth round technical knockout
to retain the South African
national title after a
back-and-forth battle.
Ndyambo quickly got her revenge
in late June, when she used all
her boxing skills to win a
unanimous decision and the S.A.
championship, and now they will
clash in what will be the first
major title fight for both.
The winner of this heated
rivalry will not only get
bragging rights, but also move a
step closer to a shot at the WBF
World title.
The fight will take place in
East London, and will be
promoted by KK Promotions.
