Ntsele Stops Sifama For Intercontinental Flyweight Title

Former South African Champion Doctor “Silent Assassin” Ntsele won the vacant World Boxing Federation Intercontinental Flyweight title on Sunday April 7.
 

Ntsele stopped fellow countryman Xola Sifama in round eight at the Orient Theatre in East London, South Africa.
 

Ntsele is now 15-5-1 (10) in the professional ranks, and Sifama falls to 10-6-1 (6). This was a rematch of their July 2011 encounter which Ntsele won by split decision.
 

Referee was Allen Mataksne, judges Siya Vabaza, Siphiwo Mbini and Lulama Mtya. WBF Supervisor: Pbakamile Jacobs.
 

The fight was promoted by Ayanda Matiti.
