SES Boxing headed by Ulf
Steinforth, the World Boxing
Federation Promoter of the Year
2009, is presenting its first
WBFed championship bout of this
year when Ramona Kuehne vies for
the vacant world super
featherweight title on June 4 in
Aschersleben, Germany.
The title fight is the co-main
event to the comeback of former
WBFed world heavyweight title
challenger Timo Hoffmann in an
open-air presentation called
"Braun Bull Fightnight".
The 30-year-old Kühne returns
from her spectacular fight last
January against Ina Menzer at
featherweight in which she
suffered her first career
setback when stopped on a
horrible cut. Otherwise, the
Berlin lady fighter nicknamed
'The Dragon' has gone from
success to success in compiling
a record that now stands at 15-1
(4).
Although no opponent has been
announced for Kuehne as of yet,
promoter Steinforth confirmed
that it will be a triple
unification fight with Ramona
not just going for the WBFed
title, but also for the WBO
version and at the same time
defending her WIBF crown.
German broadcaster Sport1 will
televise Ramona's title clash
live from 22.00 pm and tickets
can be ordered at www.ticketonline.de
or from the SES-Hotline
0049-391-7346430. |
