For quite some time SES-Manager Ulf Steinforth kept everybody guessing, but the main event on the BRAUN BULL FIGHT NIGHT at the International Floral Exhibition in Aschersleben, Germany will pit reigning WIBF super-featherweight world champion Ramona “The Dragon” Kuehne against Dahianna Santana in a much anticipated rematch. Apart from a lot of prestige, the World Boxing Federation as well as the WBO gave their blessings and regard this fight as for their vacant world crowns.

Even if Berlin-born Kuehne (now with 15 wins, 4 KO’s and only 1 loss on cuts) faced Santana from the Dominican Republic before, she might yet fight a totally different foe. Santana with a solid record of 22 wins (11 inside) and 5 losses, has won 8 in a row since she put up a fine performance against Kuehne, before bowing her head and lose on points. As her record shows, Santana has matured and perhaps their first meeting may have come too early. With this impressive developments she earned herself another change to take revenge in Aschersleben against her 30-year-old former conqueror. Besides, a win with three world titles is a 'once-in-a-lifetime' reward - if that isn't motivating!

Kuehne, when talking about her former adversary: “I kept track of her career since we fought and I must say, she grew stronger. Perhaps she was a bit too green for that fight with me. In fact, I expect a total different challenger than 18 month ago.” Since cuts on her left eyebrow robbed Kuehne from showing her very best, when nothing was decided yet, last January when facing Ina Menzer, it’s a safe bet that Kuehne won’t leave any doubts on June 4.

The Kuehne vs. Santana rematch, along with the return of the 'German Oak', veteran Timo Hoffmann, will be televised life from Aschersleben by Sport 1 from 22.00 h.
