After a long time, the World
Boxing Federation finally is
making its way back into Belgium
with the International
lightweight championship being
contested on January 29 in the
city of Ecaussinnes.
In the 10-round main event of a
show staged by new WBF partner
Challenger Events, Tunisian-born
Hedi Slimani will face
Uzbekistan's Jonny Ibramov.
Slimani, the Belgium-based
favourite, is just 23-year-old
and from his seven pro fights
won all but one, a set-back on
points when fighting abroad.
