On October 3 in Hamburg, Germany,
World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens
world Super Bantamweight champion
Phannarai Netisri tops a show
promoted by Boxen im Norden at the
Grosse Freiheit.
Netisri, 13-0 (6), defends her title
against American southpaw Danielle
Bennett, who brings a 7-1 (1) record
to her second world championship
outing.
From Bangkok, Thailand but based in
Germany her entire career, Netisri
turned pro at nineteen in 2019, and
at twenty-three she is currently one
of the youngest reigning world
champions.
Bennett (33) also entered the paid
ranks in 2019, and already in her
third fight she challenged for the
vacant WIBA world Bantamweight
title, losing on points to Canadian
Mikenna Tansley.
Since then she has won five
straight, and captured and defended
the North American Boxing Federation
Super Bantamweight title.
While “The Diamond” Netisri has
already beaten some good opponents,
Bennett could easily turn out to be
one of her toughest foes to date.
