Two World Boxing Federation (WBF)
title fights are set to take place
in France on Saturday November 9,
headlining cards in Sanvignes Les
Mines and Reims.
After losing a split decision to
Bosnian Branislav Malinovic for the
WBF Intercontinental Middleweight
title last November, Mickael
Lacombe, 13-8-1 (7), moves down to
Super Welterweight for a shot at the
vacant WBF International title.
At the Gymnase Jean Laville in
Sanvignes Les Mines, in what could
be a final opportunity at serious
championship level, 38-year-old
Lacombe will take on compatriot
Dimitri Trenel (26), who brings a
record of 10-5 (6).
In Reims, Ibrahim Traore, 10-10-1
(2), will square off with Martin
Sedlak, 6-4 (6), from the Czech
Republic for the WBF Interim
International Cruiserweight title.
Like Lacombe, Traore is also
entering his second chance to become
WBF champion, as he drew with
Rostislav Zich for the full
International title this past
February.
