Germany´s Renke “Drago” Wittke is
still the World Boxing Federation
(WBF) Intercontinental Heavyweight
champion after making a successful
first defense on Saturday night,
April 12.
At the Artland Arena in
Quackenbruck, Germany, Wittke
stopped Luis Jose Marin Garcia from
Venezuela in the very first round.
30-year-old Wittke won the WBF title
last October when he stopped
Colombian Juan Camilo Novoa in round
four in Malta.
Just five fights into his pro
career, Wittke is already starting
to make waves as he improves his
record to 5-0 (5). Marin Garcia
travels back to Quito at 16-10 (11).
The fight was part of “Champions
Night”, promoted by Kambis Rahmani.
