As the year is coming to an end,
the 2025 World Boxing Federation
(WBF) Awards are ready.
Read on to see who gets the
awards for Male Fighter of the
Year, Female Fighter of the
Year, Most Promising Fighters of
the Year, Promoter of the Year,
Male Fight of the Year, Female
Fight of the Year, Official of
the Year and KO of the Year.

Male
Boxer Of The Year: Giva Todua
(Georgia) |

|
|
|
In only his fifth professional
fight, 21-year-old Givi
Todua won the WBF Interim
World Middleweight title on
September 26 in Tbilisi.
Todua, 5-0 (4),impressively stopped
the much more experienced
Phumiritdet Chonlathondamrongkhun
from Thailand in six rounds to win
the title, and earn this award.

Female
Boxer Of The Year: Angelina
Lukas (Kazakhstan) |

|

|
|
|
On December 3 in Dubai,
Angelina Lukas from
Kazakhstan became a two-time WBF
World Super Flyweight champion,
stopping Tanzanian co-challenger
Egine Kayange in round four.
With a record of 16-1 (9), having
won multiple world titles, Lukas is
one of the most prominent boxers in
the world in her weight-class, and
the WBF 2025 Female Fighter of the
Year.

Most
Promising Fighters Of The Year:
Wyatt & Remsey Trujillo
(Guatemala) |

|

|
|
|
Brothers Wyatt and Remsey
Trujillo from Guatemala are
both the 2025 WBF Most Promising
Fighters Of The Year.
14-0 (10) Wyatt (22) won the WBF
International Super Middleweight
title on September 12 with a first
round stoppage of Yamil Acevedo from
Nicaragua, while 20-year-old Remsey
captured the WBF International Super
Welterweight title on December 6
with a third round knockout of Costa
Rican Kevin Guerrero.

Of The Year: Sjef Weber |

|
|
|
Dutchman Sjef Weber
is the World Boxing Federation (WBF)
Promoter of the Year for 2025.
Weber is the long-time promoter of
Nieky Holzken, who returned to the
ring after more than seven years out
to win the WBF Intercontinental
Super Middleweight title last July.

Fight Of The Year: Alaa Al
Mahmoud vs. Alexander Pavlov |

|

|
|
From Syria, fighting out of the
Netherlands, Alaa Al Mahmoud,
12-0 (9), won the WBF World Super
Middleweight title on May 1 in
Hamburg, Germany, stopping local
hero Alexander Pavlov
in a four round war.
This spectacular fight is the 2025
WBF Fight of the Year.

Fight Of The Year: Sarah
Liegmann vs. Liliana Martinez |
|
|

|
|
|
Germany´s Sarah Liegmann
defended the WBF world Featherweight
title against Liliana
Martinez from the on April
26 in Meckenheim, Germany.
While Liegmann won by wide unanimous
decision, it was a thrilling
encounter and the 2025 WBF Female
Fight of the Year.

Official
Of The Year: Elroy Marshall
(South Africa) |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
With more than twelve years of
experience, South African judge and
referee Elroy Marshall
has proven his capabilities and
competence time and time again.
In 2025 he officiated nine WBF
championship fights to perfection,
making him the 2025 WBF Official of
the Year.

Of The Year: Willy Kyakonye KO 1

|
|
 |
|
|
|
Ugandan born Dutchman Willy
Kyakonye, 12-0 (11),
impressively defended the WBF World
Heavyweight title by blitzing
Germany's Renke Wittke in the first
round on October 20 in Amsterdam.
It
was a spectacular finish, and the
clear winner of the 2025 WBF KO of
the Year Award.
