Another year has flown by and we
can reflect on a good 12 months
for the World Boxing
Federation with an increase in
the number of fights from 2010,
which will be highlighted in a
separate feature story on this
website by year's end. We will
be setting the bar even higher
for next year as we continue our
rapid growth worldwide. At the
same, we will continue to be a
transparent and open sanctioning
body with integrity and honesty
being the basis for all that we
do.
I would like to at this point
pay tribute to my Vice President
Jean Marcel Nartz for his hard
work and wisdom as well as to
everyone on the WBF's management
team, because the World Boxing
Federation is a team effort that
without the passion and
dedication of every single panel
member would not be possible.
This, of course, includes our
legal, medical, media and
marketing personnel who add much
value to our team.
To all the Coordinators and
Representatives who work so
diligently in not only getting
fights, but who supervise them
with such professionalism and
pride, my thanks to you
fellows. A special word of
gratitude to our wonderful
secretary, Diana Spasova, who
adds beauty and class to our
team, and who is as efficient as
one can find.
I would like to wish everyone,
our champions, promoters,
fighters, trainers, staff,
readers etc. a wonderful
holiday, a Merry Christmas and a
fruitful and successful 2012.
